School Hours: 7:40 a.m.- 2:35 p.m. (Doors open at 7:30 a.m.) General Information Infinite Campus Portal Contact Information First time at the Middle School?  Do you have lots of questions? Our handbook contains the policies, procedures, and useful facts regarding Athens Middle School.  One of its primary purposes is to answer many of those questions.  Students each received their own copy on the first day of school.  They should both familiarize themselves with the contents and store it in an easily accessible, secure place. News & Announcements 8th Grade Graduation 8th Grade Washington Trip Black and White Dance Blennerhasset Island Trip ......(25 more) 8th Grade Graduation Reminders went home with students about Graduation. It will be held at Athens High School Gymnasium on May 23, 2013, 6:00 p.m. Students should arrive by 5:30. A party will follow in the high school cafeteria from 7-9. Students must attend rehearsal earl Full Story... 8th Grade Washington Trip 8the graders will leave for Washington D.C on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 6:30 a.m. Students must be at the school by 6:15 a.m. A packed lunch (no glass bottles)is required for the first day. Students will tour Arlington Cemetery, The Jefferson Memorial, a Full Story... Black and White Dance A Black and White Dance will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 in the AMS cafeteria. Admission is $2.00. All students must stay until the end of the dance unless picked up by an adult. Wear Black and White clothing. Full Story... Blennerhasset Island Trip Students making Principal's Honor Roll for the third quarter or being on Honor Roll all year qualify to attend a field trip to Blennerhasset Island.
